This is great. Apparently, some emails got leaked or hacked from a Climate Research Unit in the UK which prove that climate scientists are a bunch of lying scam artists. What a surprise.

This climate change tripe is dying an even better death than I could have imagined. Not only is it being shown to be false, it's also shown to be a lie, one perpetrated by the so-called leading "scientists" of today. Politicized science (as opposed to REAL science) has gotten a huge black eye from this, one which will take years to overcome in the opinions of the general population.
The biggest question is whether this will have any effect on the cap and trade legislation. This is of key importance because carbon taxation is the proposed means of funding global governance.
I don't know whether anyone else noticed this in the last week or two, but there is a deliberate campaign reported on in the liberal media (and I'm not one to generally use that term) and in editorials to drum up political pressure on Obama for his failure to address "global warming". Essentially these foundation-funded environmentalist groups were trying to hold Obama accountable to his campaign promise. This really isn't anti-Obama at the core, although it would appear so. The idea is to make it easier for him and the Democrats to pass the legislation. Its painfully obvious to me.
This recent scandal should be a major blow to the effort, but I'm not holding my breath. Its very close to passing already, and much of the media is downplaying the story, reporting it as a rift in the scientific community rather than the outright fraud that it is.
Yeah, the New York Times wouldn't post the emails because they were not intended for public view... funny how they didn't have a problem publishing the SWIFT banking program for tracking terrorist funds or any of the other things they've had no problem posting if it fit their agenda even though most of that wasn't "intended for the public view."
I went on ABC News this morning and guess what, not one mention of this story in the top headlines. Instead... this will make you sick... the top story was how climate scientists now say that the climate change is even worse than previously thought. The hubris is amazing in these people.
Hubris indeed. And and shocking as it is, that doesn't surprise me one bit.
But you know, even the New York Times gets it right sometimes. Actually, much of the time I think when they report the truth, its preemptive because they know its coming out anyway. Better that it come through them so they can at least frame the debate around acceptable mainstream left-wing parameters, which is also serves to arm the left for a good rebuttal to "climate deniers" and the like.
Case in point, this article: http://tinyurl.com/yhzcp3o . This article is basically about how Gore stands to profit from carbon trading, and wouldn't you know it, there is a Goldman Sachs connection. Truthfully, this guy stands to make billions, literally.
And just so no one thinks I'm stretching it when I interject global government into the mix, here is Gore in his own words:
"From the very earliest age, we should make environmental awareness a major theme of education and a major theme of political debate, until respect for the environment comes to be as fundamental as safeguarding our rights and freedoms. By acting together, by building this unprecedented instrument, the first component of an authentic global governance, we are working for dialogue and peace."
This is what cap and trade ultimately is, folks - another means of destroying US sovereignty while enslaving the citizenry through taxation and making crooks rich. Al Gore is simply another front man for the New World Order, as was Bush (I and II) and Clinton. And Obama is their greatest creation to date. There. I succeeded in upsetting myself. ;)
